The Syringa General Hospital Community Education and Emergency Services building is expected to be completed in Mid September.
This building will be used to house the hospital's two ambulances and the Idaho County Extrication Unit. It will also have a state of the art classroom facility for continuing education of hospital staff and community members.
The building came to fruition with the assistance of the MJ Murdock Foundation and tremendous support from the community. Pledge dollars came from numerous civic and government entities as well as donations of time and labor from other organizations. The public is encouraged to utilize the facility for educational purposes. The Lewis Clark State College satellite office has already reserved space in the building for an October class.
For more information regarding the building, please contact Katy Eimers, SGH Foundation Executive Director at (208) 983.1700
